Milwaukee Brewers (4-1 and 4-1) Win Their First Title
The top ranked/103 win(s) Milwaukee Brewers, won (4-1) at Tampa Bay/St. Petersberg, vs the Rays (now (0-3) in W.S. and just (4-12) in such tilts) last night, to take their first crown, four games to one.
After dissipating a 12th inning one run lead in #4, “Milw” scored runs T2 and T4 before adding two in the 5th to win and finish with a stellar (11-2) post-season mark, months after both the NBA Knicks and NHL Hurricanes had excellent (16-3) ‘offs records (I will always cite Ron Perranoski as (16-3) in ’63), to win their league’s title.
2026 to be, N.L. Cy Young Award winner, Jacob Misiorowski notched his second win of the series, hurling 1 hit/5 and two thirds shutout innings, before being lifted due to leg cramps.
Cooper Pratt, nearly the hero the night before, when he “solo’d” T12, led the “Brew Crew’s” #5 offense with a run scored and two batted in, while making it 6 straight hits, before flying out in a virtually meaningless T9, at bat.
It was catcher William Contreras, brother of catcher Willson Contreras, who flew to the tilt from Hawaii and was a title winner with the Cubs in 2016 when they ended a 108 year(s) title drought, who was named World Series MVP, as the Brewers in their 56th completed season, won their first World Series.

Cooper Pratt, who also “tuned” Brice Turang who had a lead double, with the go ahead to stay/winning/last run in #2–B7, is pictured above.
I will have a plethora of notes in the upcoming days.
