Seattle And Indiana Notes

Tonight, a Wednesday night start to pro, a Supe redux between champion Seattle (Seahawks) and the New England Patriots.

Last year’s college title winner, Indiana, once a no chance in the Big 2 (Ohio State and Michigan), Big Ten, went (15-0) and claimed the crown.

A perhaps more or at least equally deserving, certainly in terms of years past, Indiana team, the Pacers were denied in #7 of the 2025 NBA final round by Oklahoma City (Thunder).

Seattle’s baseball entry, the Mariners were 7’d in the 2025 ALCS by the Toronto Blue Jays, who were then 7’d by a repeat Dodgers’ title.

Neither the Mariners, the lone baseball team sans even a World Series appearance or Pacers have ever won a current league title.
