Remembering The Great Gloria Steinem

September 5, 2026

The cause, I believe, essentially in line with meritocracy, and certainly in most cases fairness, that of women’s rights highlights the life of the incredibly eloquent, moving Gloria Steinem, who died days back at age 92.

There is so much to say or that can be said as Gloria left this world and country, with current disappointments I share.

A woman’s right to choose denied by recent action and face it, other, among much that is more than troublesome.

Thus, let’s say I wish I could find my picture with Gloria, as I met, spoke and in essence interviewed her on several occasions.

I always began with election status and surely we agreed. She not only was a relative winner, but an intrinsic one, as Ms. Steinem did so much.

The best moment that I witnessed live and one I repeated to Annette Benning the wife of Bulworth star, Warren Beatty, was saying how justified that the “bad guy” in that film was involved with insurance. Boy/girl can I relate!!

Gloria Steinem praised in his book, “Out of Bounds,” by Jim Brown, a beautiful inside and out “do-er” leaves us having done.

Maybe some ot the other will change for the better soon.

Let’s hope.

So friendly and engaging, the beautiful Gloria Steinem was/is above.
