4 “Div” Games Today
There will be four baseball division series games today as the San Diego Padres, after losing tough one run games 1 and 2 in Milwaukee, won a one run tilt at home last night.
Elsewhere, the two time defending champion Dodgers of L.A. once handed a World Series loss (2018) finalized by a Chris Sale strikeout that stretched their title drought to 30 years/29 completed seasons (’89-2018–no completed season in 1994), defeated Sale and Atlanta yesterday, to lead their series 2 games to 1.
Both A.L. “Div” series could end today as the A.L. top seed Tampa Bay Rays with a (2-0) lead visit Yankee Stadium while in Chicago, the White Sox hope to clinch a post season series at home for the second time and first time since 1906, when they defeated the cross town (116-36) Cubs in game 6.

The 1907 Cubs (photo above) won 107 games and the title. “Chi” repeated in 1908 and did not title again for 108 years.
