Rafael Nadal And Iga Swiatek Win French Open Crowns

Rafael Nadal, an, (if not THE) all-time great and rising star, Iga Swiatek took French Open crowns.

Nadal won his 14th such title, easing in straight sets vs Casper Ruud in the final. Nadal did “bark” as a near 2 to 1 underdog in the quarters vs Novak Djokovic, but otherwise, I believe was a prohibitive favorite in all his matches.

Ditto (I believe) Ms. Swiatek, who was a 5 to 1 favorite and also won a final in straight sets. She did so vs Cori Gauff.
