Pro Football: NFC East Preview

The NFL preseason is officially over and we will continue our divisional previews.

In the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles, whose quarterback Nick Foles had a great 2013 season, are big favorites to win the division.

I think the Eagles deserve to be the top choice but I give the New York Giants an excellent chance to win the division.

41 years ago, the Giants went (6-0) in preseason games and expectations were high for the team . They finished a woeful (2-11-1). This year despite a (5-0) preseason, expectations are not as high.

Neither the Washington Redskins nor the Dallas Cowboys will improve this season.

The Eagles will win a close race with the Giants for the divisional title.
